Tinder but for Music

From r/AppIdeas · originally by u/iStealthDude · November 4, 2025

Hi all, Thoughts on this app idea which essentially is Tinder but for Music? Swiping right will add the song to a playlist you choose, swiping left will adjust your recommendations. Any feedback is appreciated.

Platforms like Spotify effectively already do this, they just don't explicitly need likes or dislikes for a song as they can just use listen time instead.

spotify literally [DOES](https://imgur.com/a/wkndUqe) what you just vibecoded. you can add songs you swipe to either your queue, playlist, liked songs etc. so whats the point of this?

The songs I enjoy the most I didn't fully like until I'd heard them dozens of times.

I like the idea. But I feel like there needs to be more to the app. It’s great for discovering new music. So how you present the next song matters. But I don’t think ppl would be on your app for 2 mins waiting to listen to a song to then swipe left or right. They will prolly send it to the background . The whole tinder layout is for lazy ppl in my opinion. For us cases where you have to go through a lot to find the one
